Millfield School is seeking a Boarding House Manager to work 12pm – 6pm on Saturday’s during term time in a boys only boarding house.
Walton sits in its own beautiful grounds in the village of Walton, which is a short drive from Millfield. It is a true ‘home’ away from school and the extensive gardens and wonderful facilities provide the boys with an idyllic setting to grow up together.
As a Boarding House Manager, you will be joining a small team of staff who work together to ensure that the pupils feel safe, secure and at home, whilst also playing a pivotal part in making sure the house runs smoothly and efficiently.
Key duties will include supervising pupils in the house, general tidying and managing the upkeep of the house, ordering food and distributing snacks, and assisting pupils with day-to-day tasks such as mending uniforms, basic first aid and sorting lost property.
In return, you will receive a salary of £2,308.08 per annum (inclusive of holiday pay) plus a number of benefits including access to the school facilities, freshly prepared lunches for only £10 per month, and discounts/cashback on high street shops and restaurants through the school’s Employee Assistance Programme.
